It's about 40 minutes from Orlando and usually they don't open until 10. Whether it is worth it depends on how much you like LEGOs and the age of your children. Legoland target market is kids 2-12 but the ages that will probably enjoy it the most are 4 or 5 to 10. Of course if you are a LEGO fanatic , you'll probably love it.
My kids are 7 and 9. They really like going. The coasters are mild and they get to do fun things like drive LEGO cars and LEGO boats.
The next podcast will have a segment on LEGOLAND. With any luck it will be out this weekend ;)
I've been wondering the same. Will keep an eye out for the podcast.
Legoland is anything from 45 mins to and hours drive from the Wdw area
It's attached to the old cypress gardens which is lovely to see as you can walk around this as well
Legoland has now become a must do park for us every year now even though we're not into Lego
There are loads of rides for not only family but couples
The staff I am sorry to say are much better than Disney .they are so freindly and you genuinely feel there a real family
The apple fries are to die for !!
It's well worth the trip and I hope it gets more of the recognition it deserves
Worth it. But i agree with AgentC ...it depends on the age of your children. My 4 year old loved it and i will definitely take her there next year.
