Our first day here in Northern Illinois for the 2014-2015 school year is Friday, August 22nd.
After Labor Day here in northern Virginia.
Also after Labour Day here in Ontario.
My county hasn't released our 2014-2015 calendar yet, but generally Florida schools go back mid August.

We start the same as you Disney1977 --- we are in the same school district!
Aug. 12 here in southern Louisiana.

A lot of schools in indiana have gone to the "balanced" schedule. We always start the first of August. :(
Massachusetts - teachers start before Labor Day and the kids start after! :)

In my school district of AL, we start August 4th. Normally, AL starts the 2nd week of Aug.
