Does anyone know if you have to stay onsite to do the Night Goggle thing? Also, any other perks to staying at AKL?
No, you don't have to stay onsite. We booked the night safari last summer, staying at Fort Wilderness, and the other family with us was from Coronado.
I'd love to stay there, it looks like such a lovely resort, but you can go and enjoy many of the things (the fire, viewing the animals and the safari) without staying at AKL.
