Waited 40 years for this game! :mickey:
he has changed so much over the years... lol i loved his shout out to us in the pregame interview with pierre mcguire..."I have played this game (SCF's Game 7) a million times with my friends in my driveway back home in livonia" yeah that was me and my friends :D
We always dreamed of playing in this game... and now he is being let down by his stupid goalie....
Ugh. Boston - please be nice and share!!! Too many championships for you as of late. ;)
and now Vancouver is Rioting... just like they did in '94... not classy at all :(
woo hoo, The Bruins won in a shutout game. I used to watch hockey with my mom and she passed away this year, I know she was watching and cheering them on.
You got it! Not a lot of folks can say that.
I was listening to ESPN radio in the car yesterday on a long drive, and I can't remember how many cities they said there are with all four major sports. But Boston now has the shortest span of all four winning the championship - 9 years I think?
Not is only m team in, they won it all... Congrats to the Boston Bruins....:mickey:
You'd be correct. Talk about adding salt to the wound..
It would seem some "not so nice" people showed up with all the riot tools on them, right down to the gas masks. Obviously they would have started something either way. Sigh.
It was nice to see Vancouverites show up, brooms in hand, downtown this morning to clean up the mess alongside City crews. They were hurt to see their city in such a mess and came out to right things.
Congrats to the Bruins.
I finally heard back from Ryan Kesler's family.. the survived the riot and are heading back to michigan tomorrow... too bad that they are a silver cup light this trip back :(
Oh well, Michigan still proudly represents by the soon to be triple crown winner Tim Thomas (Cup, Conn Smythe, Vezzina)
