Total blindside. It was on a blog completely unrelated to Downton Abbey, down in the comments section, where someone was waxing on about the Downton developments. But so it goes.
I'm surprised I wasn't spoiled sooner because I have been researching my next books and on a lot of Edwardian/Downton Abbey time period type sites. But no, I was spoiled in a completely unrelated way.
Oh no, I'm sorry Sherri! I've unfollowed a lot of people on Twitter to avoid spoilers but who would have thought you'd run into something on an unrelated topic!
I know of the events you are talking about, Sherri; in my case I was chatting with a friend in England and it came out (at my insistence, I must add--I don't mind spoilers). Sorry that you found out unintentionally though.
this show is the best drama to come from British Television in my lifetime. Definitive acting - utterly sublime. The likes of Hugh Bonneville, Jim Carter and Maggie Smith deserve to be the yard stick for excellence in acting
