More Magic Band Options Coming Soon

The Walt Disney World resort has announced a discounted MagicBand upgrade option for Passholder and Walt Disney World resort hotel Guests:

Like I needed yet another reason to expand my ever growing magic band collection :) I do think it's a cute idea though and I like the discounted pricing.

Yea - don't have enough of those magic bands! And some of these will be tempting to add to the collection! Discounted pricing? Or another $10 we wouldn't have spent otherwise!?!

I think I agree with the general thoughts. These are cute, and I'm glad there is a discount … one of the reasons I've avoided buying the cool MB's in the past is because I didn't want to pay full price for something I could get for "free", but at the reduced price … Disney just might get my $$.

Do we know when these will be available? I don't see the options for my August trip yet.

I'm not a fan of the bands in general, which is why I have a fob for my disk. Are the disks for the specialized bands also graphic, or just plain?

I believe that all the 'pucks' are solid color -- plain. Color coordinated with the band pattern, but no graphics.

They are just a solid color, but many of them are non-standard colors.

Both, I like the discount, been saying that should happen for years. No one is forcing you to buy one, although they are tempting.

Agreed. VERY tempting!! I think I see one of them in my future!!

A Castmember just told me this option would be ready soon, but didn't have an exact date. I guess we will all just have to keep checking back.

As of about 6am (Eastern) this morning - 5/20 - the new Premium band option is available. It's unstable, i.e. glitchy, -at the moment, but it's there. There is an interesting selection of Premium bands available. FYI , the second wave of the solid colors (black, white, teal, millenial pink, etc.) are NOT included.

I looked today at work, and saw a few that I liked, but they aren't there anymore this evening. I'm sure they will come back in stock, but crazy!

I know, right? I looked the day they were available, texted my daughter, then was going to order 2 the next day. The designs were pretty much not available.
