We are going to reuse our old Magic Bands for our upcoming March trip. When I went into MDE to link the Magic Bands, my old one shows up on the list, but my husband's does not. When I tried to link his by typing in the ID number on the back, I was told that it was already linked! Why isn't it showing up on the list of Magic Bands then? Should I call and double-check to make sure everything is linked properly?
I'm not sure why his magic band is not showing up on your My Disney Experience deal, but it is showing as active, so that is a good sign.
That being said, your bands are linked to your account, not your previous tickets, so any and all previous magic bands you have should work if they have not been disabled.
I would give them a call and have them straighten it out. Just because it says linked does not mean it is active, even though I've deactivated a lot of my old bands they still show as linked. Has he always been on your account or does/did he have his own?
My guess is that he has his own Disney account. Even if your two accounts are linked via Friends and Family, you CANNOT see the MagicBands for another adult's account on your account. You can see his tickets, his dining reservations, his FastPasses, but you can't see his MagicBands.
You would need to log into his account directly to see those old bands.
