Universal Studios in Hollywood CA

Going to be vacationing out West. And while not going to Disneyland will be going to Universal Studios. Just wondering if it's better to get tickets before we go or would it be the same price at the gate? Because I really can't find any discounts now for them.

I was hoping that my AMEX cc would offer another discount like they did a year or so ago. But nothing of course. If I do order them ahead of time I was going to get them off their site but just wondering what I will be saving. Thanks

We went about 2 years ago. Didn't see any great deals. Getting tickets at the gate was fast and easy. Didn't feel the need really to get the express pass. We did get it, but didn't really need to use it.

That's when we went. It was significantly hotter that time of year that I thought it would be. 90's..

Just found out I could get them for $95 and $25 for an all day parking pass. That's probably the best I can do...

You might want to look into that parking pass. If it is preferred parking, it might be ok, but I want to say that regular parking was less than that when we went. I'll ask my kids when I am off work.

They are thinking the nurse is sampling the narcotics, again.


I'd go w/ the Preferred parking pass. Much closer. Worth it. The regular parking was a pretty good haul away. Preferred is basically right in front of the gates.

I didn't think the regular parking was too far, but I'm not in IT.
