Magic Kingdom Hosts Bash with Stitch’s SuperSonic Celebration

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Interactive wizardry that combines comedy, real-time animation and live musical madness will dazzle guests during Stitch’s SuperSonic Celebration in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.

Beginning in May, Stitch will host a zany interactive experience at the new Rockettower Plaza Stage. Guests are invited to participate in a Galaxy Day celebration when the new outdoor stage comes to life with music and a giant LED screen displays real-time, interactive animation.

The new show incorporates the same interactive technology used in “Turtle Talk With Crush” and “Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.” Shows will take place six times daily.

I will admit that I am a Stitch fan and my boys will love seeing this...Where exactly is it going to be located in Tomorrowland?

Well, here's hoping that Stitch's Supersonic Celebration is a huge hit. With a highly succesful Stitch attraction in MK, maybe, just maybe, Disney could get rid of SGE and put something better there.

Don't get your hopes up.

SGE is already popular with the majority of WDW's guests.

Is this outdoors? I can't see us standing around out in the July sun for very long, even if it's really good.

It's outdoors and it's a dance party, not just music. It's suppose to be done soon.

Is SGE popular? I hear wait times are very minimal, which to me, suggests unpopularity...

they have removed the construction walls, and turned the big LED screen on, and they are showing ads for the restaurants right now, while they test it

The area is kinda shaded, and looks really well themed, when i sat up on the stage, you could smell the fresh cut wood/paint

I may be the only one but I just don't get the Stitch thing.
