Are you able to book at later dinner and watch Reflections of Earth from the restaurant. Or is it not a good viewing place?
I've never tried to watch from this spot but it is right on the water and I expect the view from this are would be good.
From the Disney website:

Dining at night? Prepare yourself for the perfect vantage point to enjoy IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth—a stunning nighttime show celebrating the past, present and future of our planet—along with your mouthwatering meal.
It is in my plans...want to try their food and love ROE
I've eaten here. Specifically requested a table with a view. Added that we were willing to wait. Server sat us on the far side away from the view, though empty tables remained near the water. I asked for a change. Server insisted we would have a better view where we were once it started. I did not see how that was possible and again requested a change. Server refused to move us and promised we would be satisfied. Other people came later, were given the tables by the water. We couldn't see any of it once it started and the server changed his name tag and said he was the initial server's twin brother. Ha ha- joke on us. We were not pleased.
I never bother trying to get a fireworks view at Wishes or Illuminations. Too much pressure. Then I wind up not properly enjoying the meal or the show. Better to eat, enjoy and relax, then get a good spot for the fireworks.
The one time I got an excellent table in the Mexican Pavilion, I had people hanging all over my table during Illuminations. Not worth it to me.
I have done the water view at Rose and Crown a few times. It was awesome.
