We just booked a trip in the past few days and we leave in 2 weeks from tomorrow (I know, very last minute). It has been a really, really long time for me to stay on property, so the whole magic bands are new.
How much of a pain is it to just pick the bands up from the resort on check in? I know we can't customize them, but is it do-able? :confused:
Yes. It is simple. Just let them know at the resort.

Just let them know at check in. They will have plain grey magic bands they will give you. No problem at all
About like finding water by falling out of a boat.
Us Canadians (and any non-US visitor) HAVE to pick up our MB at the resort, it isn't an option to have them mailed to us in advance.
So, the resorts are very used to it, and it takes no time at all!

Last year we checking in online. The only thig we needed were the magic bands. As we were waiting in line at the desk, a CM was talking to each family to make sure they were in the right line. We told her all we needed were magic bands, she went back and got them for us, no problem.
So, if I do all my other online check-in through My Experience, does that work if I don't have my bands? I wondered that!Quote:

They will try to give you all grey ones. If you ask very nicely, SOMETIMES they do have other colors in the back....
