"Club 626 Dance Party Rockettower Plaza Stage" this week -- Wednesday-Saturday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm
So, is this a new show? Or is it dancing in the street? Are there characters like the EMH parties? or Simply a DJ causing conjestion in the area? Anyone have the details?
If it's accurate, seems like something to keep the Turkey Day crowds busy... Attractions/shows are used to calculate occupancy limits at the parks. Not sure how much sometihng like this would add, but it's its easy to add even a littele capacity, they will do it as busy times of the year. Don't want to turns any dollars, I mean people away if they don't have to.
Seems like it could be a revival of the Stitch Stage Show that was yanked quickly! But, when you're looking for capacity, quality doesn't matter.
Stitch's Club 626 Dance Party at Rockettower Plaza Stage replaced Stitch's Cosmic Dance Party at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe for the 2009 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Parties. The dance party featured appearances by Stitch along with Pluto, Goofy, and Chip & Dale in space attire.
You can probably find some videos of the party if you search "Stitch's Club 626" in a search engine of your choice.
jeez...they demolish a 30 year old stage to put in a parking lot....and spend 15K on a new one.....and yet they can't bring themselves to realize it was a stupid move and nobody is interested in watching lame-O character shows in tomorrowland...

The Dance party is only for a few days this week and I'm pretty sure it is the same thing that happened during the Halloween Parties which when I walked by there a few times for the Halloween parties they seemed like people liked them the dance parties always seem to have a bunch of people around dancing with the other characters.
