Thoughts on ICOT 20 Day 2

Magic Kingdom day
Today was EMH at Magic Kingdom beginning at 7, with a regular opening at 8 because tonight is a MNSSHP party. Ron had to be at work at 7, so we all rode in together. I had promised my girls a day off from school when I thought we would be staying on property. I still let them off, but instead of joining in the INTERCOT festivities, they decided to hang with their brother today.
We got to the gates about 7:30 and were allowed in on Main St. A cast member pulled up in a Main St. Vehicle and offered us a ride up to the castle, so we accepted. We then got breakfast at the bakery. By the time we finished, the lands had opened up for all guests. The girls and Matt had a fastpass for Peter Pan, so we headed into Fantasyland. First, the girls wanted to meet Rapunzel and Tiana so we obliged since the wait was 10 minutes. I then waited for the rest to use their fastpasses. Next, it was over to Enchanted Tales with Belle. Hallie was chosen to be the Beast, while Emily played Mrs. Potts.
It was getting time for the first meet of the day and they had some more fastpasses to use, so we split up and I headed for the meet at Carousel of Progress. I spotted Brad in his INTERCOT gear, so I introduced myself and before long the rest of the gang began arriving. In addition to Brad I met Genna and Nikki for the first time. We had a great time singing along! Afterwards, most of us rode Peoplemover, before we split into groups. I wound up heading over to Big Thunder My. Railroad with Justin & Dawn, Jason, and Marci. After our wild ride through the wilderness, we decided to grab some lunch at Peco's Bill's. Here we ran into Cindy and Katerina again, so they joined our merry group. Also, just before we left, I also happened to run into my kids. Next up was the Haunted Mansion meet. We had a bit of a wait here as the park was pretty crowded. However, when you have a lot of friends to chat with, the time kind of goes quickly. Next was the trivia meet with the lovely ladies from Magical Journeys at Tortuga Tavern. I sat with Gale, Marci, and a new friend Nick who joined us I believe at the Haunted Mansion. The questions were tough, but between the 4 of us and Google,lol, we were able to get them answered. The prizes were cute Disney mystery figurines. I got Ariel, who was super cute, but unfortunately she forgot to get off the monorail at the TTC with me.
With Trivia wrapped up, most of the gang chose to ride the Magic Carpets. I, however, needed to meet up with my kids and ultimately Ron. We decided to grab some dinner together, before Ron and the kids headed home and I was dropped off for the evening monorail bar crawl. We gathered at The Wave, where our Canada girls brought more glowy products for us to wear. From the Contemporary, we headed to the Poly to meet at Tambu lounge, but since we couldn't get any seats there we opted for the outdoor deck of Trader Sam's. The indoor area was at a 1.5 hour wait. We lost a few members after we finished here, but those of us still left, headed for Mizner's at GF. A great time was had by all on this day! I got an Uber home to get some rest for another early and busy day at Epcot tomorrow.
