RCI check out early week long reservation

Hi,

I am looking to book a 4 night stay at an RCI exchange location in Mexico. Most of the locations seems to be week long reservations. The points are reasonable, so I'd be fine still paying 100 points for the week and just check out early. Has anyone done this? Any issues with booking the week, but leaving early?

I don't know for sure, but I can't see why they will care when you leave, since you've already "paid" for it.
