Dog kennel
We're planning a big road trip mostly with parks and scenery but wanted to spend a couple days at Disneyland. We're trying to decide whether or not to bring our beloved dog along. The rest of the trip will be dog friendly and I read that DLR does have some limited dog kenneling available. I'm wondering if anybody knows how it is. I know it says we'd need to let her out every 4 hours (no problem, I'd want to make sure she's ok anyway) and they don't provide any type of service like feeding or walking.. Is it air conditioned? Is it safe? Is there a way to reserve a kennel ahead of time. I'd hate to get there after driving from Wisconsin only to find out there's no room for her.
thanks!

I have never used the kennel nor known anyone that has used the kennel at Disneyland. Here's the link to the description of services on Disneyland's website. It starts out by calling itself climate controlled, so I'm guessing that answers your air conditioned question right off the bat. There are no reservations, first come first served.

Thank you, that was helpful. I also found pics and reviews on Yelp today. If we do end up taking her, it looks like she'll be in a safe place.

I've used the kennel when our dog was a puppy....Years ago. I had to provide proof of vaccination. Without it they won't accept your dog. The provided one meal, either wet or dry. I opted to bring Ginger's food with us. A water bowl is also provided. We were there every few hours to walk and potty her.
If your dog is frightened of thunder, fireworks may be frightening for him/her. My dog got used to the noise of the fireworks and was not frightened by them. Even now, she's not afraid of fireworks or thunder.
