Thank you for your kind words. It actually isn't that big of a deal though. Sure we were sick and it was the only illness I have ever had that was comparable to how sick you get with the actual full blown flu. However, unless you are one of the high risk folks or have pre-existing conditions, you are typically only really sick for 4 or so days and then you start recovering. We never worried about reinfection and it was our own fault we were exposed multiple times. We basically considered it booster shots and had similar symptoms to those who now get vaccinated and have low grade symptoms on their second shots. I know someone who got a booster shot a couple weeks ago and they had higher level of symptoms with the booster than they did with the first or second shot. Most likely they didn't need the booster and they overloaded their immune system. We aren't worried about getting vaccinated, we just feel we have absolutely no need to do so considering we had Covid a year and a half ago and have gone at life like Covid didn't exist since then. We probably have better immunity at this point than most people that got vaccinated in the very beginning of vaccinations since we have been exposed so many times. If I had it all to do over again, I would do the exact same thing and catch it in the beginning so I could just carry on with life without worrying about it.

I agree with you 100%. The media loves to rattle on and on about the low vaccination rates in the South but yet, we barely ever got on board with any of it and have carried onward with life throughout the "pandemic." I actually personally know of 3 people who had pre-existing terminal cancer with months to live, caught covid and their cause of death was labeled as covid. I just wonder how that is going to skew cancer statistics and research in years to come. The CDC can't make up their mind from one month to the next what route they are taking with guidance and the media just wants us all to go hide in safe rooms for who knows how long. We have moved on and the media needs to move on as well. They have pretty much ridden this horse as far as it is going to go.

The safe and effective vaccine was just approved for Children ages 5 - 11. Get those shots folks so we can end this pandemic.

No thanks! The rates for children getting sick, let alone dying are so infinitesimal that I wouldn't risk their health on this largely unproven vax. Thank God for VA! A referendum on the Biden's woke agenda. Red wave coming in 2022 to end all this nonsense!

Covid 19 is the eighth highest killer of children over the last year. Of the parents that have lost a child I’m sure many are asking if they would have had the vaccine sooner would my child be alive. I understand the desire to tie this to Biden and the left….but by saying and spreading what you are you are contributing to the preventable deaths of both adults and now children. This vaccine has been widely studied. It has been widely distributed and given to millions of individuals on the right and left. It is safe. It is effective. I understand the medical hesitancy. I do not understand the political hesitancy to prove a point. Regardless to anyone reading this….it is safe. It is effective. It is approved for children ages 5 to 11. Get it and help end this pandemic.

It's not political from a republican standpoint. It is political from a democrat standpoint in that their aim is to whittle away at your freedoms until the US become a socialist/Marxism state. No thanks! Let's go Brandon!

I once seen a sign. It was car merging onto a highway. There was a yield sign that the merging car was ignoring. To its left was another car that could slow down and allow the merging car ahead of him. Or….he could speed up and potentially cause a collision. The caption was…what’s better…being smart or being right.

My point is this. You can object to the mandating of the shots which is right. But you should just as forcefully push people to voluntarily get the shots which is smart. I see a lot of right and rights but not a lot of smart.

The shot is safe. The shot is effective. Get the shot.
