if it is ANYTHING like DL, it will be a complete madhouse. we are talking get there at opening or they have to close the gates 'cuz they've reached the limit.

Best TS is STORYTELLERS!!! it has great food and a great character experience. we go there for breakfast.

our favorite CS is Award Weiners in CA Adventure (I LOVE the portabello mushroom philly)....

for disneyland itself, at least 2 days, but up to 4. depending on how many thrill seekers you have in your group, CA adventure can be done in a day. though to see the parades and shows 2 days is...

My only advice is the same as above, stake out a spot EARLY, the castmembers will not let anyone stand outside the roped area, so if you don/t have a spot they won't let passerbys stop and stare.

i believe the comfort inn is quite close, which is handy. I have never stayed there though. I have stayed at the CandyCane and the bestwestern at the maingate.

also, there is at least one restaurant inside DL that gives a AAA discount, i can't remember which one though. but bring your card anyway!

AAA does DL discounts on PACKAGES ONLY-not on tickets alone. i have purchased packages thru them, and you do get a good discount, but if you want tickets only, you can get them online for a descent...
