Soarin'. Old and new. Just not that great of a "ride."
-
Just talked to a friend that's is an travel agent for Disney.
BTMRR has been removed completely from the rehab schedule according to her site. Odd.
-
Nuts. The one ride my kids were hoping would be their first roller coaster....
-
I've found the crowds in October over the past ten years to to be pretty much the same. Light, with the exception of F&W at Epcot. Are they like they were in the 80s and 90s? No. But still...

I went three times one year. That was enough for me. I was so hopelessly bored that third time, it was a waste.
Once a year I can handle, but with kids now, we've been pushing it out to every...

Ah the Steven Tyler sightings.
My sister literally bumped into him when leaving the washrooms by Peter Pan. My nephew was having a complete meltdown in there, as Steven walked in. I guess he...

We purposely scheduled our last trip in November to get one more in before my kids hit 3.
So to recap more clearly: Under 3 = free.
-
I used to go every year as a kid. Then as we hit Jr. High and High School visiting other places took precedent. College was tough too. As I got back into Disney and theme parks after college I...

There are lights. We saw it at dusk, and it was cool to see all the X-Mas decorations in the queue and the ride.
Well worth the ride for the layover.

Because "meet in front of the Chinese Theater" is too confusing????
Why not put in the front entrance, where the Christmas tree is? Good focal point as you walk up the gates.

As a kid we used to go the second week of November. It was dead. As in walk on everything. I've posted pictures elsewhere of us at Epcot in 82 and there's no one there....a month after opening! ...
-
Epcot was packed on the the 10th, and the MK was packed on the 11th.
It slowly got a bit more tolerable as the week progressed. I was not happy, as I did not plan on it being as bad as it was. ...

I hope that maragarita is still available in three weeks! YUM!

You cannot compare WDW to a Six Flags and/or Cedar Fair park. It's not a fair comparison. They aren't built or aimed at the same demographic. WDW is a theme park, SF and CF parks are thrill ride...

You can never go wrong with the cheese soup in Canada either.

LOL!
I'm still not sure why Soarin' gets the love it gets. I think it's a total bore...and to wait that long for it? Ridiculous.
-
We'll be there the 9th through 15th. Just in time to catch the last day of F&W, and do a night for DVMCP (14th).
Great time to go.

^ It was awhile back.
The Frontierland Attractions Manager at the time is a friend (and in that picture - which was pulled for reasons I understand), and set that up. It was an anual photo op we...

Can't wait. We arrive the day before it ends. Guess where we'll be our first day at WDW! :D

Teens make up in the eating costs for the lack of a need for souvenirs!

I thought the whole FP thing was debunked already. I believe FP are available now through the end of the year.
I love Maelstrom, and I have never seen Frozen (yes, you've all found the one...

We typically rest either in the old Terrace between Main Street and Tomorrowland. There's bathrooms, and it's usually empty, so the kids can run around if they still have energy to burn. And it's...
-
How about just a freshening. You know, maybe discuss alternative fuel sources now??? So easy to redo at this point, then hash over energy from oil.

We used to go the third week in November as kids. It was dead. And I mean dead. If we waited more than ten minutes for anything, that was long. I almost got myself to accustomed to that, and was...
