LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (April 26, 2017) -- Levy Restaurants, a Chicago-based restaurant company which operates more than 100 food-service locations in the United States and Canada, is excited to...

I saw on another site that Portobello at Disney Springs is closing and a new Italian restaurant is going in there. Maybe that's the new restaurant that the rumors are about. We actually ate at Bongos...
-
We have stayed at both resorts and while we enjoyed POP (we were there with our grandkids - great resort for kids), POFQ is our favorite resort. The things that stand out for us at POFQ are...queen...

Thought I'd post a review of our experience at Bongos Cafe on 10/30/16. I've seen such poor reviews of this restaurant that I was hesitant to give it a try but it's been around a long time, so how...

Just back from WDW and on the first day at PO French Quarter, there were only refill cups with no handles. But the next day, mugs with handles began to appear (only red or blue ones) and more started...

So what is actually going on at night at AK? When I check the schedule for the end of October there doesn't appear to be anything listed for the evening hours...no Harambi street party, no Jungle...
-
I'm also wondering about this. We will be in WDW in October and while the park hours have already been posted, AK is listed as closing at 5 pm. Why no late hours at AK for October??

In my experience, the Basis Dining plan has always been 1 table service, 1 counter service, 1 snack and a free mug. But I do remember being able to use a snack credit for breakfast by getting a small...

Contact Magical Journeys (an Intercot sponsor)...they will help with all the planning. Terrisue takes care of all our trips...and we love her! We did both a Disney cruise and then 4 days in Disney...
-
Why not do both...combine a cruise and a Disney World visit. We did that 2 years ago and it was great. We stopped at Disney World first (stayed at Port Orleans FQ for 2 nights) - then did a 3 night...
-
Not sure exactly what you are nervous about. We always use the Magical Express to and from our resort. It is convenient and free...and yes you can handle your luggage yourself and not have it...

I've never been to Disney for Easter week...usually go the end of April - beginning of May or sometime in October. But in 2014 we went the week before Christmas and the crowds were very managable....
-
Dining at Disney is also important to us...so we too booked for the end of October because the Food & Wine Festival is going on during that time. I initially made dining reservations at the 180 day...
-
Do keep trying. I made a lunch reservation for BOG just last week (for our October trip)...then cancelled it yesterday after deciding that we will do more eating in EPCOT during the Food & Wine...
-
We have gone at that time of the year for the last 5 years and found the crowd levels to be very manageable. Last year (2014) we were there April 28 - May 4. The crowds were fine but the weather was...

I had double lobster tails at Narcossi's when we were there in December (2014). The waitress heard my accent (huh...what accent?? LOL) and asked if I was from Boston (nope, Rhode Island), then...

The breakfast buffet at The Captain's Grill is really good...lots of variety and made-to-order omlettes. And it's soo much cheaper than a character buffet. We make it part of every trip.

We like both of these resorts but prefer French Quarter. Since we only wanted to stay in the Mansions section at PO, we always had to pay for a prefered room. But since FQ is smaller, there aren't...

We've stayed at all the moderates...but our favorite is French Quarter!! The size, the location, the theme, the staff, all make it a great place to stay. We'll be back there in October...can't wait...
-
Wow...that's going to be a lot of food! Do go to the Hoop Dee Doo Review...we've done it several times and it has always been a great time! The food is good but the entertainment is what makes it...

We like Mama Melrose...nice atmosphere...good food.

We were just there the week before Christmas (Dec 15 -19) and the crowds were very manageable. Free dining was also offered and the weather was great. It was a great time to visit...got to see all...
-
When I just checked the Disney cruise site, there still appears to be two available 3 night cruises in October (Oct 1 and Oct 30), on the Dream, sailing from Port Canaveral. I had thought about...

I also thought going on vacation right before Christmas would be too stressful...but we just went to WDW the week before Christmas and it was wonderful. Our flights there and back were problem-free...

We were just there, the week before Christmas (12/15 - 12/19) and the crowds were not bad at all...much better than I had anticipated. The weather was very nice (upper 60's /low 70's). All the...
