If you can wait until October, I'll let you know what my back to back Eastern/Western experience was like...

That's the point of my petition. They stopped offering the Halloween Haunted Hayrides at Fort Wilderness. It was a really great experience, hence my efforts to get Disney guest services to bring it...

Petition can be found on Change.org, titled
Walt Disney World: Bring Back the Halloween Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness

I was looking into doing the haunted hayride for my upcoming trip and found out that they are no longer offering it. It was a great time when I did it back in the early 2000's, but the castmember...

Guess there's nothing that really can be done to keep spammers out, but this was pretty surprising...

Back in 2001 they used to do a 'haunted hayride' at Fort Wilderness which ended with the cart being 'chased' by the headless horseman. I don't know if they are still doing it, but it was pretty fun...

Wow... it looks and sounds great. I can't wait to go back! :D

Just make up your mind... is it a family vacation or a honeymoon? If it's the latter, then leave the kids at home and enjoy being newlyweds - you did the deed, signed the papers, you earned it. ;)

We did a 4 nite with a porthole window and a 7 nite inside stateroom, and while we saved significantly on that 7 nite holiday cruise by bypassing the window, I'd never recommend it to anyone. Being...

Because you're a DVC member, DCL will pick you up at OKW - they don't normally pick up there for non-DVC members. As for when to fly in, I think you're always best off flying in the night before......

Considering that World Showcase only has 2 rides, I think the Maelstrom is pretty decent... it's a boat dark-ride with anamtronics - isn't that what Disney does best? I just wish that there were more...

Having done a DCL cruise in the middle of a WDW vacation, expect to be picked up at your resort around noon (so by the time you get to the terminal, people are already onboard), and expect to get...

It all depends on how much park time you're willing to sacrifice. That late in August, the summer crowds will have begun to die down, so you've got that on your side...
Enjoy!

Absolutely do not count on flying in the morning before your flight... too many things could happen that could delay you and cause you to miss the boat. Since you're not booking your airfare through...

"Understanding Criminal Procedure: Investigation" by Joshua Dressler - the be-all, end-all author and commentator on all aspects of criminal law.
Such is the light summer reading of a pt law...

My wife and I have been on 2 DCL cruises and neither time did we ever run into a significant amount of kids. DCL does an amazing job of keeping the kids busy (and I mean kids ranging from very young...

Back in 2006 they were setting up Xmas decorations and starting to play Xmas music as early as November 3rd. It stands out because we were in the parks for a few days, went on a 4 day DCL cruise over...

Define a full day. If a full day is 12 hours, then no... but there's enough there to for someone that's never been to easily spend 5 or 6 hours doing everything and redoing fun stuff. That's not even...

I think a 101 Dalmations dark ride would be a perfect addition to Fantasyland...

Make sure to have dinner at O'Hana's and time your reservation with the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.
Best Poly tip I could think of...

Although it's not listed as a Disney excursion, there's a pirate museum :pirate: about 3 blocks away from the dock that the mrs and I really enjoyed when we were in Nassau. Heck of alot cheaper than...

We stayed at the airport Hyatt for our last cruise (NYE 2007/2008), and we were really glad we did. As long as you have your luggage outside your door by 10 pm (iirc, may have been 11) with the...

Yes, many adults and most children wear costumes. It's a really fun time. One tip I learned was not to go with too extensive of a costume... the mrs and I went as Jack and Sally from NBC one year...

Current park maps & a copy of the current Birnbaum's guide... because you KNOW that many rides will be gone and new ones added over the next 20 years. Just think about what attractions/parks have...

We stayed there the night before our last cruise and it was definitely worth the money. Not only is it a pretty cool hotel with an amazing restaurant with a perfect view of the planes taking off and...
