When we were at WDW in August a few years ago I used a BanDoo and it worked very well. Never slimey, stayed wet and cool a long time, and came in a variety of colours.

I've really enjoyed reading about your interaction with the characters. You write well, too.
And, on a side note, you piqued my curiosity so I looked up Saddleback bags. I want one! Seriously,...

I wish they'd have Dave on the planning DVD again.
"Try out the benches. They're included in the price of admission."
It was the only way I was able to get two tired kids from one end of EPCOT...

Another vote for Worst Witch. My kids loved it.
And my "unknown classic" is - Robinson Crusoe on Mars.
Also, Hot Millions - Peter Ustinov, Maggie Smith, Bob Newhart.

I've just been diagnosed with celiac disease and was wondering if anyone has experience with eating gluten free at Disney.
I have a year to figure this out before my next tentative trip, but I...

We were there in August 2010. I told my kids before we went that there certain non-negotiables: hats, sunscreen, and water bottles.
I wore a Bandoo, a neck cloth with water absorbing beads in...

I just got my weekly e-mail from my PBS station (KSPS in Spokane). On January 24th they're showing The Real Mary Poppins, synopsis below:

Here's another possible treatment.
When I was pregnant my ankles got HUGE. My doctor told me that a good treatment is a swimming pool or hot tub (no hot tub when you're pregnant). As long as you...

Two ideas.
1) Avoid caffeine in the evening.
2) Have your iron levels checked.
I had leg cramps when I was anemic. Iron pills got rid of them.

When the time comes, perhaps a book could help.
A book that I found helpful for my daughters when my mom died was Badger's Parting Gifts by Susan Varley.

Dave saved my life! I was at Epcot with two exhausted kids when I remembered Dave from that year's video. "Hey, girls, there's a bench. Let's try it out like Dave said."
Bench by bench we made...

I still miss Dave.
"Try the benches, they're included in the price of admission."

I'm an introvert too. Fortunately, it's not an issue in my workplace.
Another book to check out is "The Introvert Advantage".
Unfortunately, I think it's your supervisor who should be reading...

My 40th will be in 5 years. I went to the 10 year reunion, but as others have said I've kept in touch with the people I want to.
As for age:
Inside every old person is a young person wondering...

Myself and my two teenage daughters ate there last August. We had an early lunch and really enjoyed it. It was very busy, but things moved quickly. I had the Cornish pasties, which were quite...

I've been reading about Tom Hanks' upcoming movie, Saving Mr. Banks.
He'll be playing Walt Disney and the movie will tell the story of the 14 years it took to persuade P.L. Travers to let Disney...

Three. If I lived closer, or the kids were paying for themselves, it would be more.
And I think the kids are on to me. I may say I go because they like Disney, but they're really just the excuse...

We were there last August (August 15 -25) and we didn't see a single tour group.
That's the only time we've been in August, so I don't know how reliable my one time observation is.

Yes, it hurts doesn't it? Cross-border hopping to get a cheaper fare isn't an option for me (I like in Edmonton).
When we went in August this year I paid over $800 for each of us.
On the...

My two daughters and I were at Tony's in August for lunch. I had baked ziti and my girls had chicken parmigiana and a caesar salad. We all enjoyed our main courses.
For dessert I had the...

I'm finding it tough to pick just one.
1. My kids love the rides.
2. I hate driving on vacation.
3. The parks are beautiful, the queues are wonderful.
4. Wonderful service.
5. Excellent family...

Such a terrible loss. I have known several people who struggled with depression, and they were the last people you would think to have the problem. Always a smile and a laugh. They were very good...
