Adventureland

I know this is by no means a Disney movie, but I saw it the other night and it was decent. Has anyone else seen it yet?

It was directed by Greg Motolla, who also directed Superbad. They advertised the movie making it too look like another teenage comedy, but it was not at all. It was a love/coming of age story.

I was really excited about seeing this movie because the script was based off of Motolla's real experience while working at the Adventureland park on Long Island, NY that I grew up going to.

I think it looks pretty dreadful, actually. I don't plan on seeing it, but maybe I'll give it a shot as a rental. Your review makes it sound better than I expected. I enjoy romantic comedies.

Sorry guys, I saw this movie last night, and although I enjoyed it and agree that it was really badly marketed, it's Rated R -- and is by NO means INTERCOT friendly. Sorry, this thread is closed.
