I think I'm going to wait trying Club Penguin until I can't play VMK anymore.

I joined played 5 minutes thought it was terrible and left. Sorry not a penguin and it seems to do anything worthwhile you need to pay and the only Disney game i am willing to pay for and support is VMK.

I signed up same night Genie did. We got a bunch of intercot people in there at the same time the other night (Doll I still need to get you on my list). MadeleineGB was actually person that talked us into it. I'll probably stick with free, but it is pretty amusing. I like having the pets, they are pretty funny. I'm probably not going to spend much time in there while VMK is still around. I got my hands full enough with VMK and Pirates.

My green penguin is Katbluerat since chescat and ratcat (even Rat Cat) were taken!

I only signed up so I'd have something to play once VMK is gone. I'm still on VMK daily though. Club Penguin is so expensive though, and doesn't have hardly any great stuff. They could charge that much for VMK and i wouldn't have a problem really. The only thing i like is the games on CP, they are fairly easy.

Maybe that's why we all jumped on and ran around going, OMG look at this. I can have a pet. Look at the guy with this hat on or that hat one. They have quests on there. I guess that's my age bracket.

    Heh, cat your too funny.

When we registered at Club Penguin long ago (I happened to personally know a moderator who told me my kids would be safe and have fun there) .. this was way before it was a Disney site, I was watching one of my kids play and I remember booting him off his seat so I could get in on a tube race. After a couple of races, he asked if he could have his chair back.

So, yesterday.. after not having looked in ages, I went to see what the kids had been doing with our penguins and I thought it was so cute that Spookum was walking a little blue Puffle.

Anyhoo.. my little kids have always loved CP and it has always filled the "I'm not old enough for VMK" gap for them. Sadly, my older kids are not happy to have CP as an only choice. I'm hopeful that Cars will lean towards a little older audience and fill the gap between CP (very young) and POTC(teen and up).
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

I just don't know about this Penguin thing...
As stated, it does seem to cater to the 5 year old bracket.
    It is very simple.
    We all LOOK ALIKE!
As we found out, nearly all of our usual names were ALREADY TAKEN (as was every variation that I would have wanted.)
Other than for having a place to meet up and chat in real time with y'all, it just doesn't seem very interesting. But if it's the only place I can go to hang out with you crazy birds, I guess I gotta do what I gotta do?

So, despite my big sister's advice that I wouldn't not care for it at all, I decided to check it out this morning. I guess I should've already taken it as a bad sign that "Orochi" was taken O_o. So I'm this little green penguin named Kelakono (Dragon in Hawaiian). I walked around and clicked on stuff for about 5 or so minutes and was just bleh. You'd think by now I'd have learned to listed to my sister. -_-'

Yeah, POTCO for me for now. I don't think there's much else out there that can fill the VMK void. :/

I must disagree with you, my dear Ice.

I've only played Club Penguin for about 5 minutes, but I can tell you this....

My Penguin, cleverly entitled Rickscafe, looks different from all the others. Little penguin Ricks's plumage is a lovely shade of reddish-maroon. My countershaded underside is a delicious vanilla white. When I wave my flipper, it bespeaks a sadness which comes from time and lost loves. And yet my snowball throwing conveys a distinctly nuanced, open-hearted, coy flirtatiousness.

Ricks (who you'll pick out of a penguiny crowd easily)
Zut alors! I have missed one!

We need to find you. Sorry I don't have white knees in that game, but we'll always have VMK.

I did make a second character since I got locked out of my first one saturday. chescat34
