Default Single Rider line and Chicken Exits

Double question here.. I'm hoping to go to Disney in November with my dh to celebrate our anniversary. He has a bad back and won't be able to ride many of the rides. So I'm thinking I could use the single rider lines and he could go thru the lines with me. Would he go all the way to the ride itself before 'chicken exiting' or are those near the beginning of the line. He wouldn't be happy if he had to sit somewhere by himself for 20 minutes or longer...

The single rider lines I am aware of are:

Toy Story Mania - Haven't been on it yet, but I assume your DH would be fine on it.

Expedition: Everest - You can chicken out just before boarding, but it wouldn't even be worth it for the single rider line. The stand by queue is really good and the single rider line completely bypasses it.

Rock n Roller Coaster - Chicken exit is just before boarding. This one would be worth it.

Test Track - Not sure where, or even if there is, a chicken exit. But if there is one just before boarding, it would be worth it.

P.S. Does your husband know a good ambulance chaser for his injury?

When I was with my GS and didn't or couldn't do the ride with him, I would walk with him until he got on, and then the CM would show me to the Gift Shop. It worked quite well, especially with EE. I hope your husband can do Soarin over at the Land. It is very gentle and soothing. Have a good time when you go.
Keep smiling and Have a magical day!!!
    It's all good.

We love to serve fun, food, and deliciousness.

I go in the single rider lines all the time, and I am almost positive that I still have the option of taking the "chicken" exit on Test Track, ToT, and RnR. You can always verify by asking the CM. Have fun!

My DH doesn't ride MANY of the rides, so I do the singles line all the time. It's AWESOME to walk by everyone in the fasspass line, and get right on.

My DH doesn't mind waiting outside the attraction at all.

I want to make sure that everyone understands that not always is the single rider line the fastest way to board a ride. This is a pretty dangerous misconception. We have a single riders line at Toystory Midway Mania, and sometimes the wait in that line can be as long as our standby. We have only one way out if the guest decides that they do not want to ride the ride after standing in the single riders/fastpass queue and that would be to open the gate and send them back through the line they were just in. There is no other way out.
Often times we have to completely shut down the single riders line because it has reached its limits inside the building and the line moves so slow. Also if there is a huge influx of fastpass to the line we need to stop the single riders from making the line even worse.
Of course you are coming when our crowds are not so bad, but I will warn everyone now with the summer crowds that the single rider line is not there as a convenience to our guests, and there is no guaranteed wait time with it. It could be short or it could be a huge wait. The line is used to fill in available seats and get more guests through the attraction.
I want to make sure that you have all the information there is available. Because I would never want anyone to be so disappointed.
    Enjoy your visit!
