Default Where would you put a new DisneyLand?

If DIsney decided to build a new DisneyLand,
where should they build it and what kind of parks/lands.etc.should be on the new property?

I think Texas would be good because of the weather and it's between California and Florida. I would like to see an all rollercoaster park. Expensive and hard to keep up with, yes, but if others can do it...just imagine what Disney would be able to do!

There have been rumors for years that Disney owned land outside of Houston in Katy TX. It would be a good location, but since I live in Austin TX by the lakes it would be a perfect place to build a theme park. Right in the middle of the Hill Country. I would like it to be something similar to Walt Disney World, being that we have plenty of land out here.

    We can always hope!!!

Something in the middle of the country (for geographic purposes) but climate has to be taken into consideration.

If they do build something in the US, it has to be in a climate that can be attended all year. This leaves out many of the northern states and midwest states. This would amount to about Texas. Now, can WDW create a new park and sustain attendance at 3 separate parks? It may be possible, but it is probably not a wise investment, at least not in the short-term. Then, they would have to weigh the option of adding another park to WDW. It may be a cheaper alternative because they already have the resorts and property.

The Houston area is UNBEARABLE in the summer. If it was Texas, it would need to be somehwere inland that is not so horribly hot and humid AND suseptible to hurricanes.

The problem I see with adding another park to WDW is that it is already very difficult to see 4 parks in one week and there are a lot of people that can only take one week of vacation a year.
I know you can always skip some things and say youll return in a year or two to catch them, but it can be a frustrating feeling coming home from a WDW trip after a long wait feeling that you missed a lot.

I think you guys are missing one obvious location: Nashville. As most of us I am biased but here is a rational explanation.
-The weather is mild, it has only snowed here about once or twice a year the last decade. In the late summer it gets humid but no more than Florida
-It's in the population center of America.
-It's bordered by 8 different states.
-There are already other things to do here, it is already a tourism center.
-The music industry here makes it a good fit.

Years ago a hot rumor going around Nashville, was that Disney was going to buy Opryland. I am not sure if that was ever legitamite, but it made sense to me.

However the problem with my plan is that maybe Nashville is still a little too close to Orlando...10 hour drive. Honestly I don't think Disney needs another park in America it would dilute the product.
    Loads of trips since 1974...

OK, seriously, I agree that there should be no other disney parks in the USA. I think having one on each coast is just right!

I have been doing some internet research on this. It seems like most major metropolitin areas have had a Disney rumor at some point very few have been real. Seems like St Louis was actually the only one that was close. Although I swear I saw rumors about Nashville.

Any state (prefer DC area), since they could design for all year attendance. When they were looking at Disney's America in Virgina, it was going to be such that in the winter, you did not need to go outdoors very much.
