How to get to the mall without renting a car?
We'll be flying in from New Zealand, and may want to do some clothes shopping while in the US (we're originally from Maryland).
I"m not keen on renting a car for a day again this year - are there other ways to get to the mall (either Florida Mall or Mall at Millenia)?
Oh, and we're staying on-property (Wilderness Lodge).

Lynx, the public transportation system for the Orlando area, operates regularly from the Ticket and Transportation Center to anywhere in Orlando including International Drive. Here is link to Lynx with more details and maps/schedules:
http://www.golynx.com/
Also, from I Drive, you can take the Trolley to all the I Drive locations, and to several malls...

The Lynx stops that are near the resorts are generally backstage or inconvenient to access from Disney transport.
The main stops for guests are TTC and DTD. At DTD, the Lynx "Transfer Center" is behind Cirque du Soleil.
Link 111 will get you from TTC to Florida Mall, probably the largest mall in the area, and definitely the most popular among tourists. The 50-minute trip runs hourly between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. every day.

The Florida Mall and the Mall at Millenia are both close to each other and close to WDW. I'm not sure if there are any other malls in the area that are closer.

Wow, never mind about the cab. We often take cabs from resort to resort for a dinner, but never pay more than about $20 to do so. Wow, that's a lot of money.

Especially compared to a bus ride of $4.50 for a day pass, or $50/day for a rental car!

I looked at the Lynx website, but I can't see it going to the Mall at Millenia. Am I missing something? Also, can you take it to Universal? My mom and I were going to rent a car to go there one day just to walk around since we got the free tickets from the Super Bowl and we haven't been in years.
Many, many trips (30+) since 1978 when I was three... oh what they started!!

I don't think there are direct buses from WDW to either of thos locations.
Mears may have a shuttle available to Universal. Google Mears Transportation for their phone number.

I've been unable to find a direct route either, but with a little planning, you can do it with two.
Take Link111 to the Florida Mall, and then catch Link 37 to Universal.
