DH and I went to see it this past Saturday. Didn't think that it would be my type of movie. I have to say, you could have heard a pin drop in the movie theatre at any time. I don't think anyone, other than me (had to use washroom), even left the theatre during the movie. They were all riveted to their seats.

    AMAZING MOVIE as Pagan said.

Gerard Butler plays a man who's family is murdered in front of him, and Jaime Foxx plays the lawyer who's prosecuting the case when the murderers are brought to trial.

The trial goes a way that Butler doesn't want, so he seeks revenge...against the entire justice system.

Sounds cut and dry, but HOW he starts doing this is the key.

Like Magic Smiles said, not a word in the theater during the movie, except for ONE scene where I actually yelled out loud, something I NEVER do.

    Go see it.

I'm a huge fan of Gerard Butler so I was dying to see this movie. I was glued to the edge of my seat and so was my DH. There were some surprises and the ending was not predictable at all. Well worth the time and $!

I sent to see this movie because I adore Gerard Butler. I agree that it was a very twisty story with lots of great surprise moments, but I hated the ending. Kind of ruined the movie for me. And I thought Jamie Foxx's character was a total jerk.

And that was done on purpose. By making Foxx kind of a jerk, you felt for Butler's character.

Then as things got more complicated, you didn't know who to feel for.

That's part what makes a great thriller.
