Fantasmic! Dinner Package Timing

Hi all,

The only dinner reservation time I could get at Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic! Dinner Package is at 4:05 pm, and the show doesn't start until 7 pm. Is this too much time in between? How does this work? Do we get VIP tickets at dinner and then come back to Fantasmic! when it's time for the show? Anyone care to comment on the food at Hollywood & Vine?

You will probably have some time to kill between finishing eating and when you need to enter for the show. Might be a good time to do some shopping along Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset Blvd.

How does this work? Do we get VIP tickets at dinner and then come back to Fantasmic! when it's time for the show?

Basically, yes.

You will be given a voucher by your server that will let you in the special queue for the Dining Package Reserved section. This queue used to start at Oscar's Super Service, but now starts next to the main entrance off of Sunset Blvd.

Guests are asked to enter the special queue 30-45 minutes prior to the scheduled show time. After that time period, the seats in the reserved section might be opened to the general standby queue.

Anyone care to comment on the food at Hollywood & Vine?

We've enjoyed it enough to dine there multiple trips. As with all buffets, the variety of foods appears to be the goal of this restaurant.

The variety here is a little more unique than some other Disney buffets and we've always been pleased with the quality considering the buffet serving style.

Many Guests also particularly like the dessert buffet here. We personally never found it anything to rave about, but enjoyed it none-the-less.
