Question Dining Plan Price Question - Peak v. Off Peak

Hey - Looking to confirm something, if possible.

If when we purchase the dining plan, our stay starts during an Off-Peak time, but then goes into a Peak time, are all of our dining plan days on the original price?

Ie, if Offpeak is $42/day for for of our days, but 3 of our days are at peak, $48/day, will we just pay $42/day for each day of our stay?

This is a deciding factor in us choosing the dining plan. Thanks in advance for any help, as always.

I don't know the answer for sure but I'm guessing you will pay the increased rate for the days that you will be there during peak season. Maybe someone from MJ will come along with the definitive answer.

I am not sure about starting out in regular season and ending in peak season, but I can tell you that we are checking in on the last day of the Easter peak season. We are staying 9 nights. Because our package was starting in peak season we were going to have to pay peak rates for the dining plan for all 9 nights even though 8 of the nights fell during regular season. Then someone here on Intercot suggested that we do a room reservation only for that first night and start our vacation package with dining plan on the second day of our stay. So that is what we did. We would have preferred the dining plan for all 9 days but it would have been around $180 more plus I didn't really think it was fair to have to pay the peak dining plan rates for those 8 nights that fall during regular season. Then someone else here on the discussion boards said that likewise....if we had started our vacation package on the last day of regular season and ended in peak season then we would be charged regular season dining rates for our entire stay even though the majority of the stay fell during peak season. It is just a shame that they don't charge you for each day depending on what the seasonal rate is. HOWEVER.....that said....let us wait for the experts to tell us for sure.
