My wife and I are members at the Grand Californian and I have a friend who is a member at Bay Lake Tower. Can I transfer my points to him and utilize his 11 month window to book at Bay Lake Tower and avoid wait listing?

The short answer is simply, no. Points are tied to their home resort, even with transfers. I'm 99.9% positive but maybe someone out there can back me up on that.

No. Points are tied to their home resort - if you transferred them to your friend he would now be able to book 11mo out at Grand Calif using your points or 11mo out at BLT using his points.

Your friend could make ressies for you at BLT using his points at 11 months out.
