    Default Halloween Refurbishment Schedule?

    Hi everyone,

My wife and I are planning a trip to Disneyland for September 16-19 this year. I know that the Haunted Mansion closes right after labor day (sad) but is Space Mountain now closing after labor day too, in order to get ready for Ghost Galaxy?

Is anything else a regular closure? Where can I find this information?

    Thanks!!!

The DLR calendar is updated with closures about 3-4 months ahead of time. You can check Vacation Planning and we have the calendar listed or you can visit the official Disney Site for updates as well.

There hasn't been any announcement if Ghost Galaxy will be a regular thing ... but I believe the switch over only took a few days as its not a full theme change on SM.

I like the sound of that. I can handle the closure of one E-ticket attraction but not Space Mountain too!

    Thanks for the tip!

Ahhh. Don't bring back Ghost Galaxy. (without some MAJOR improvements to it please?)

I really need to jump in here. Ghost Galaxy was great. The effects that were on the outside structure of the mountain were outstanding, both visual and sound. I really enjoy SM so the inside effects were nice. I was expecting more inside, but what what I saw outside made the difference.

    Outside was great.
    Will give you that.
It was interesting enough to make waiting in the standby line ok.

Inside needs a great deal of work.
    IMHO

If it does return in the same incarnation as before, I will not ride it.

SM is much more fun without it.
