just got the email letting me know that disney has decided to waive their right to buy the contract that we want!

YAY! now we just need to get the closing docs, send our check, and wait til disney gets us in the system (hopefully it won't take TOO long)!

can't WAIT to book our first DVC trip! i want to do it NOW!!

Hopefully you got a good price. I'm not surprised that Disney isn't pulling ROFR on contracts very often. They have enough of their own to worry about.

It took 14 days from the day we passed ROFR to get into the system. It may go a little quicker for you as we had a delay since we were dealing with a seller from the Phillipines and there was one piece of paperwork that was not included in our packet. Congratulations!

You will LOVE the THV. And as SSR owners, like us, you will get first crack at them 11 months out. We absolutely love the Treehouses. We wil miss them dearly when we go in October and stay in our studios at AKV. But, we are determined to stay at each one of the resorts at least once. And that is where the beauty of DVC is for us!
