    Default Fantasmic Seating

At Fantasmic, Does anyone feel that sitting on the sides is just as good as sitting in the middle?

We always sit in the middle, but someone recently told me that they did not mind sitting on the far side of the theater.

    Anyone done both?

    And what's your comparison?

We've always sat on the side due to the Fantasmic! dining package (the old version), and it was never a problem to view the show.

You can enjoy the show from any vantage point. But the absolute best view is either just to the left or right of center(there is actually a pole in the way dead center). This is where the princess rafts are spotlighted during their theme songs and you can see what is going on on both sides of the stage throughout the show. Also, Mickey's antics are better viewed from this point. But there isn't anywhere that there is a bad show.

A little to the right or left isn't bad but too far can ruin the experience. Last year we were seated pretty far to the left and the part when the Evil Queen transforms into the old hag was completely ruined. When the flash came from the cauldron we could see the Evil Queen duck down while the hag stood up from a kneeling position. Normally the transition is seamless & you would be unaware of the switch. But our viewing position destroyed the magic.

We have been seated in the middle & off to the side. We prefer the middle.

I've sat on the left once, the middle once, and the left three times with the dining plan. I really like the left hand side. I've never seen any bad transitions, and I really love it at the end when Steamboat Willie comes out to the big fanfare. You're right there when it starts. Everywhere else, you're waiting for it to come. I'd say the worst section is the far right.

Would this be the far left if you are at the top of the amphitheater looking at the stage?

I would have to say that almost any seat in the amphitheater is a good seat... the show you see is done on such a large scale that you can see everything from everywhere. Personally, I usually sit on the sides just because I don't like standing in the "line" to get in with the other 1,000,000 people who HAVE to have the center seating and will push and shove to get them. I just stroll in at the end and get whatever seating is left, usually the sides. Never been a problem for me!

Excuse me? Are you lookin' at me? Did you rub my lamp? Did you wake me up? Did you bring me here? And all of a sudden you're walking out on me? I don't think so, not right now. You're getting your wishes, so sit down!

we have done the dinner package the last couple of trips and off the left is a different view. You pay for the opportuity to sit in "good" seats and get shoved tothe far left...I am not happy about that

I definitely don't think you get the best view with the Fastasmic!dinner package.

I agree. But now that the shows have been cut down I am NOT wanting to wait in such a long line.

We have sat in the middle, the far left (while looking at the island) and the right (witches area Fantasmic! seating). Of all the places, honestly the right side was the best. We didn't have any poles in the way, the transitions were seamless, and the boats came from our side.
