Default Best Breakfast in the World

Long story short, we have decided to use one of our days and go to universal so now I have 5 TS and 5 CS credits to use. We have not booked one breakfast so Im looking for suggestions. I would like to use them when we go to either MK or MGM (HS) I am open to going to a resort for breakfast also as long as its kind of on the way to the park we are doing that day. We are staying at POR if that helps. On the 2 MK days we are eating dinner at GFC and then KONA. But those are also the two good breakfast places I can think of near MK. Also is a character breakfast worth 2 TS each?

Not all of the character meals take two TS credits, I don't think Crystal Palace takes more than one...I've read really good reviews on Intercot about the breakfast there...AND it's in MK!

I second the Crystal Palace in MK and also the fact that it's only a 1 TS credit (at least it always has been in the past, including last year in May). Another option if going to MK would be Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge. Lots of fun and not too far out of the way. The Poly also has Ohana's for breakfast and I know they were doing characters with breakfast, Lilo, Stich, Mickey and Pluto were there when we went and at that time it was only 1 TS credit (this may have changed though). I'm not too familiar with breakfast options by HS but I'm sure there's some great options at the BC, YC, and BW.

I'm sure you'll get some more great suggestions too.

    Have fun!

Kona is awesome for breakfast... also if you like character breakfast buffets consider Crystal Palace at MK for one credit or 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian for 1 credit.....

We've really enjoyed Crystal Palace, Ohana, and Boma for TS breakfasts.

1900 Park Fare has a great character breakfast.

    1) The best breakfast is Grand Floridian Café.
    2) Not a single character breakfast has great food.
    3) You pay for characters, not the food.
    4) At GF, you pay for the food.

I have enjoyed both of the character breakfasts at Crystal Palace & 1900 Park Fare. I do not recall them being 2 TS.

The plus for CP is that you can get into the park before opening and get great pics of the castle and main st with no one around.

    Good luck

I have looked at the menus for the breakfast buffets and most only say scrambled eggs. 1900 Park Fare at The Grand Floridian says eggs cooked to order and omlets made to order. Its a character meal with Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. I dont know if the eggs make a difference to you, but thats what made my decision for our trip in Feb!

The best character breakfast on property is Donalds Safari Breakfast over at AK. We did it twice last trip, totally "worth" it.

We did CP for breakfast in July. Food was outstanding, and the characters (Pooh, Tigger, and gang) were in view, and close up, most of the meal. Great shots of DGS#4 (2 yo) with each of them! We have also done breakfast at 1900 Park Faire (GF), Donald's Safari Breakfast (AK), Ohana (Poly), and Chef Mickey's (CR)....We have never had a bad character meal....We can honestly recommend any of them. At the present time, all of them are one TS credit.

Note that our usual schedule is for me to do opening with one or more of the DGK's, then meet the rest of the family, including DW, at the venue of choice for a late breakfast...typically after 10....Breakfast for us is more of a brunch....

Our favorite breakfast is Boma. You may need to take a cab to get there. From BLT we walked to MK and asked a Supervisor if a bus could go to AKL. They made it happen.
If you're on the monorail, the Wave was fine too.

I also suggest Crystal Palace. A delightful way to start the day in MK...

Ohana at Poly for sure! It's fun and easy to get to even if you aren't staying on the monorail.

Our favorite is Crystal Palace. Get an early ADR before the park opens and you can get great pics in front of the castle with nobody around. We aren't big breakfast eaters but try a different one every time. We enjoyed 1900 Park Fare also. Their omelet station was good and we loved the character interaction. The Mad Hatter was hilarious. Also been to Ohana. Eating with Lilo & Stitch was fun but the food was only ok IMO.

You must have been on a good day! Ohana is on our "Don't Do" list. I wasn't impressed at all, actually somewhat disappointed...

I agree, but not on the way, so I'd go to WL and eat at WCC....the skillet is very good.....

I'll add my vote to Donalds Safari Breakfast at Tusker House. It's a unique buffet and the character interaction is top notch. The food is much higher quality than that at Crystal Palace so far as I'm concerned.

Our absolute must-do breakfast is the Crystal Palace! We've also been toying with WCC as something different (been to both lunch and dinner there and really enjoyed it!)
