Burned Episode 4 yesterday to disk & listened to it on the way home from work - good stuff, guys! I guess I'm going backwards, as today I'll do Ep3.

P.S. - love the intro & exit music - it reminds me of Epcot for some reason!

Funny you say that - I spend 2-3 weeks looking for the perfect music that reminded me of old and new Epcot

Kind of a combo of the old future world attractions and the fountain plaza.

Thanks for the feedback. We tape episode 5 tonite.

Should we expect the episode to "air" this weekend then?

I haven't been on the site in a while, so I just noticed these. I'm listening to the first one right now. I'll have another podcast I can add to the few I listen to doing my LA traffic commute each day.

I think most people get the vernacular. The show is live to hard drive meaning - we do it in one take, we don't really mess with editing other than music in and out.

It's not a bunch of pre-produced segments, rather a round table, unscripted discussion of all things Disney. I don't tell our folks what to say or comment on - we just go with the flow other than me having a basic list of stuff we might hit on.

Unfortunately, there's about 3-5 hours of post production which involves among other things, me listening back to the whole thing, cataloging what we talked about, mixing the music, recording the intro, encoding it to an mp3, tagging the mp3 and adding artwork, uploading to the podcast server, formatting the webpage, adding the post to the homepage, pinging itunes to let them know it's there plus a bunch of other things.

But yes, essentialy it's a live show. In the biz (I was in radio/tv for more than 10 years), we used to call it Live To Tape. Or when a show was on the air (regardless of whether it was pre produced) in radio, we'd say X show is "live".

We are looking at ways for people to watch us or listen to us actually tape live in the future but right now, we havn't worked out all the technical issues.

John: I loved how you slipped in the Jungle Cruise joke and no one noticed. I want you to know, I noticed and laughed at it. It was even funnier, though, that no one noticed...and you mentioned it a few minutes later. Great stuff.

    Overall, another great podcast.

I think I'm now the only one without a funny, hidden joke. I'm just not funny.

I've finally caught up and listened to all the podcasts. I love them, great job John, and all of you taking part. I especially liked the mention about me from Mel on one of the podcasts.

I'll have to admit I've been spending less time on Intercot than I used to. While Intercot does a wonderful job covering WDW, it is lacking when I want to know more Disneyland inside info. I found a site that is the Disneyland equal to Intercot, so now I find myself splitting time between the two sites.

I have several podcast I listen to on a regular basis. As far as Disney podcasts, I've only listened to a few various Disney related podcast online. The Intercot podcast has instantly become my favorite Disney podcast. Being in broadcast myself for more than 20 years, I also enjoy the live-to-tape element of the show.

Keep up the great work. After a marathon listening session over a few days I'm ready more more.

Just curious, but do you know about INTERCOT West? There is an INTERCOT sister site that's dedicated to Disneyland only.

Yes Ian, I'm familiar with Intercot West, but I'm not talking about basic info. I'm talking about a site that goes into detail of each and every project and attraction in development or refurbish with photos published weekly sometimes daily to the site.

Dedicated fans from all backgrounds who bring lots of technical knowledge both from CMs and people with engineering backgrounds who really dig deep (albeit many times too much) into everything going on in the park.

The sites are opposite in respects that this site focus mostly on WDW (which I love) but very little Disneyland discussion. The other site is heavy Disneyland discussion with less WDW discussion. So I have to get my full Disney fix sharing time between the sites.

John - you definitely have a broadcaster's voice. That's the first thing that I thought of when I heard the first podcast. Ian's voice, however sounds more like a local Philly sportscaster. His voice is very familiar, almost eerily so, but I'm sure I've never met him, so it must be a Philly familiarity thing.

After finally having the time to figure out how my iPod and iTunes worked (after getting an iPod for Christmas two years ago), I was finally able to listen to your Podcasts. They are greatly appreciated and I can't wait to listen to the next one.

Thanks John, Ian, Mel, Gary and Carol.
