Cruise Ships Upping Entertainment

I get a travel magazine and found this article about cruise ship entertainment interesting. Here are some of the hitlites on how they are upping their entertainment to get your travel business.

Carnival (The Dream): Laser light show on deck.

Celebrity (The Solstice): Glassblowing studio

Celebrity (The Equinox): Cirue du Soleil type show

Norwegian (6 of the lines ships): Interactive Murder/Comedy Show performed by Second City comdeians.

Princess (Most ships): Interactive American Idol type show

Royal Caribbean (all ships): Dreamworks characters.

Royal Caribbean (all ships): Broadway type shows include Hairspray, Saturday Night Fever, Chicago.

Holland America (most ships): Replaced old lounges with shows that change nightly in a more intimate atmosphere.

Some of these sound very interesting!

Glad to see that ALL of RCCL's ships will have the Broadway shows as well as the Dreamworks Characters. Because I notice on the smaller older ships they don't usually have all of that.
