Today's rumor on the internet is that there is now a scrim up in front of the Yeti at Expedition Everest because they are testing a way to put marionette-like cables on his arms that will give him some motion as they lift and lower his arm as trains rush by.

Can anyone confirm that there is a scrim?

There is a scrim up... However, what is going on behind the scrim is up for debate... Some people think they yeti is being fixed and will be in a limited A mode... Others are saying they are only examining the yeti to figure out a way to fix him.... I don't know what to believe LOL....

That's just a rumor. Absolutely nothing is confirmed. Whenever anything like this happens lots of people pop out saying their "sources" tell them this or that. I have several friends at WDI and all I can say is they ain't telling me nothin' about what's going on behind the scrim (not that I won't keep asking) so I doubt anyone else on any other site knows either.

Not good. Maybe they aren't telling you cause nothing is really going on? I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they do not fix the yeti.

Pinocchio lost his strings and became a real little boy. Does that mean, the yeti will magically become real? Is that why he is behind the scrim? Maybe WDI is installing a cage for the real yeti to make an appearance.

Not good. Maybe they aren't telling you cause nothing is really going on? I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they do not fix the yeti.

That's possible. Normally they're wiling to share with me. Sometimes they say "you can't talk about this on any website until such and such a date" but it's rare for these guys not to want to talk about it at all. So, I'm not sure if they have been ordered to say nothing or they're just really not sure what the plan is yet. Maybe the scrim is up for analysis purposes and they're taking a hard look at what the best fix will be. As soon as I hear something (and can say anything) I'll let you guys know.
