McDonalds in the parks
I heard Disney had removed Mcdonalds of the property, did that include Animal Kingdom and the fry carts as well?

Yes. All of the structures are still in the parks, but are no longer McDonalds.
Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you!
-
Yes, McDonald's ended their corporate agreement with Disney World some time back. The fry carts are gone, as is the McDonald's in the Animal Kingdom and the one in Downtown Disney. There is still one McDonald's left on property at West Buena Vista Drive.

Why oh why don't they bring the fry carts back?!?!?
-
While I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in, oh say--10 years or so, I do have to admit that the fries they had at the carts were tasty.

Is the restraunt thats replaced the McD's at Animal Kingdom still reasonable? Do they still serve cheeseburgers and stuff like that? Oh, and do they still have the toppings bar? I dont mind it not being a Mcdonalds but it was fairly priced and the cheeseburgers were yummy :P

so happy...
Though I have not eaten at McDonalds since I was about 11 or so, I must say I am very happy about the removal. Asside from the fact that the food is terrible and horrible for you, it also distracted from the DIsney brand and magic. When I go to a Disney location I want full immersion and if I see those disgusting goolden arches it instantly pulls me out of it think oh yeah corporate sponsorship.
I know other attractions have company logos on them but having a serious hatred for fats food places and their effect on the general population seeing that particular logo really bothered me.. yeah for DIsney and "tough luck" for McDonalds"!

Was this what replaced the McD's in AK? Or is it still a burger place?

Even though I've always loved McDonald's fries, I never bought them at any of the Disney parks, so I don't really miss them.

It's still Restarauntasarus in AK where McD's was - now it's typical Disney QS similar to others - burgers, wraps, etc. If I'm remembering correctly...

Yes, still a burger place, just without the corporate connection. I think the previous poster was talking about the Downtown Disney McD's.

WOW, tell us what you REALLY think...
I don't eat there often, but the fry carts weren't too bad. We ate those when passing by Petrifires, the smell was tempting, and they weren't a heavy meal on a hot day. But alas, I will survive without them.
I am glad however, that they kept the McD's near the All Stars because the resort food can get a little stale after a few days.
