    Default Fire in Tomorrowland

It is being reported on Twitter, that Tomorrowland is closed and was evacuated earlier today due to a fire involving the Astro Orbiter.

Anyone in the parks today that can verify this?

Sounds like it did happen, looks like they got everyone out and the fire is gone. That's about all I've seen so far...

The fire was small and on the astro orbiter according to news. It happened around 9:30 and tomorrowland was closed for about an hour. It has reopened but the ride is closed for inspection

This is the 2nd fire recently at WDW (tiki room being the other). Wonder if their inspections are getting a little more lax?

No! It is reported this morning that it was an overheated lamp in one of the globes at the very top of attraction. It shorted and smoldered. Not really a fire. Even inspections won't locate a bulb about to burn out anymore than you looking at a lamp bulb can know its about to go.

R2-D2 put out a fire on the Millennium Falcon. Wonder if he took care of this fire too.
