You probably know that the second parade is less crowded than the first, so, during the first parade is a great time to get on any rides you want. However, we never found long lines during the party. Splash Mountain was 5 minutes at the most. A few of the Fantasyland ones were a bit busier, but nothing to worry about really. You will be able to get in plenty of rides!
Many, many trips (30+) since 1978 when I was three... oh what they started!!

The atmosphere is amazing. It's the same park as always, but it takes on a different quality somehow with the decorations, the smoky air, the night. It's very cool. Make sure you take time to take in all the details. It is usually a great time to fit in a lot of rides without much wait. But also, the special parade and fireworks, plus all those atmospheric details, really make the night. Enjoy!

Go with the spirit of the night and dress up in costumes! It's so much fun when you do!

definitely dress up...even if its nothing more than an eye patch and a pirate scarf...it will put you in the mood for the evening and genuinely multiply your fun.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow

My advice for any party is simple! Take advantage of the special activities the party has to offer. See the shows, the parade, & the special fireworks. Think of the rides as a bonus! For MNSSHP definitely go Tirck or Treating and take pictures with the characters in their special costumes. Use the time to really become a kid again
