This is a great resort...for several reasons:

    1. the main pool is fabulous. If I was a 14 year old boy, I would think this was very cool.

    2. It is a large resort with a few quiet pools scattered around the property. Great for a late night swim and to soak the feet.

    3. I like the Pepper Market. It is difficult to find food to fit everyone's taste. This would be a great option.

    4. There are several bus stops.

    5. It is a lovely resort...beautiful during the day and beautifully lighted by night.

    6. This resort has at least queen sized beds.

    CONS

    1. It is a large resort. If mobility is a problem for anyone in your party, this may not be the right place.

    2. You may not find this resort to be intimate. It's not. It's really big.

Here's a map of the property:

I agree with the post above. Very nice resort with lots to offer. They also have the campfire and movies poolside now too.

Buses, does not share it's buses with any other resort. During the day we found the buses were not that crowded.

This was my first stay in a moderate and we liked it. The resort is actually really big and we found it very peaceful. Not a lot of storage in the rooms, but we are hardly there. Request a room in Casitas 3 or 4. It was near bus stop #2 (which is actually the first pick up and drop off point). We found buses plentiful and never waited very long. We also like that there is a true bar/ lounge on the property to enjoy a drink.

We haven't stayed since 2005 but we loved it. It is still my sons favorite resort. We really liked the Pepper Market for the variety of CS options. We also liked how there were bus stops spread around the resort so it wasn't a long walk to any of them. My son enjoyed the pool as well.

Love the pool, theming, and restaurants, especially Maya Grill. It's a beautiful resort, so think about spending some time there.

    Cool Great resort

We stayed here in for a few days in 2010 after a 7 night DCL cruise. It was peaceful, clean and the room was fantastic.

We love CSR. I have stayed there 3x in the past year. This past weekend, we got a surprise upgrade to a KIng Bed Suite. It way myself, DW, and DD8.

    Talk about awesome!

This room had more room than the cabins! It had a king bed and queen size fold out. The fold-out was a great bed even! You could easily get 2-3 roll-a-ways in there as well if you were just trying to get beds for people.

I don't how we got it, but it made the trip magical!

I like this resort as its an easy drive to all the parks and just a few blocks from Blizzard Beach. Also, just a 1 min drive down to the 24 hr McDonald's if you get a late night craving.

Of all the Moderates and below, by and far the best beds!

Our favorite moderate by far! The resort is just gorgeous. Take some time to walk the resort grounds. The lake is beautiful at night and we really enjoyed the lake side patio they had near Pepper Market. We got food to go a lot just so we could enjoy the lakeside views.

Huge CSR fans here. We spent 18 days there last year and loved each and every minute of it. We will be back for another extra long stay this year. We stayed at the Poly this past April and we were prepared to never want to stay anywhere else ever again. Not the case. I'd go back to Coronado before the Poly.

Coronado is beautiful, the staff and guests very friendly, we love the Pepper Market, you can just about always get a last minute reservation at Maya Grill, the bar/lounge is a great perk for adults who are traveling with other adults (or older childrenn) and want to sneak away for a little, the pool is by far the best IMHO you can see the entire pool area from any seat around the pool making it easy with children, the rooms are great and we love the sliding doors separating the bathroom from the sleeping areas, room service, the best bus service we have ever had on property. . . I could go on and on.

To be honest I can't fine anything we don't like about CSR.
