Disney Marathons

With the number of different Marathons Disney offers, and the popularity of them, would it be possible to have a section devoted to the Marathons? Where people can discuss the different ones, how they are training, etc?

I have been working on getting in shape the last couple of months and am interested in the smaller runs right now. I wouldn't mind reading more on the prep and training.

I would really like a running section too. I'm would LOVE to do a shorter RunDisney event my ToT 10 mile or possible a 1/2. I'm hesitant because I don't have any friends or family that run. It might be a good place to find others in the same boat going to one of the runs.

Maria K and I were just talking about this and we said there is so much interest in hopefully getting a big group of Intercotees to be either running the marathon, 1/2 or the 5K at Disney in early 2014. I for one am in! I need to have a serious goal to kick my b*#@ in gear to get back to exercising and I think a group trip to Disney to do this would be just the ticket! Woo Hoo!
