    Default Old Characters gone?

I was checking old WDW videos in youtube, like the 1971 Grand Opening special, and saw clips from parades of the 70s, and realize there are characters that I've not seen in recent visits, like the Skunk and Rabbit from Bambi movie.

Are there more characters you remember, that are no more in parades or meet & greets?

I miss max. He is one of my favorite characters. At least they are bringing some retired characters back for "limited time magic". Does anyone know the dates that they will be doing that?

I agree a meet and greet with sora riku and kairi would have been great problem is Disney and square enix never marketed them correctly. at least in the U.S.

Looking at my old photo albums I found some unknown charactes in the 1988 Magic Kingdom parade, after a short research I found they were from Oliver & Company, a movie I don't even remember. They were promoting the animated film and sure there are several characters in the parades history that are gone shortly after the movie is out of cinemas and didn't become a classic.

Depends on your definition, "Oliver and Company" is considered a classic, and I remember it well. I did not like it, that Billy Joel soundtrack was horrible, at least to me. It joins Black Cauldron, Home on the Range, Atlantis, Great Mouse Detective, and others as the animated classics with no showing in the park.

They released several for handhelds, but they are not considered sequals. THey are considered gap fillers. KH 3 is still moving forward however slowley. The guy in charge of the project did an interview a couple of weeks ago and stated that now that he had finished another major game he was ready to get back to KH 3.

Yes, maybe classic is not the right word. In that case what movies are non-classics?

I considered classics, movies that are always remembered, admired, and people like to see again an again. All movies you mention, I don't remember them (except Atlantis). So to me Ben-Hur is a classic, but The Fall of the Roman Empire (with Sophia Loren) wouldn't be, it's just an old movie to me.

So I considered classics Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Lady and the Tramp, Jungle Book, Fantasia.

English is not my native language so I'm probably using this word in the wrong way. I read a classic movie is also the one that maintains its appeal through the generations; one that my parents found interesting, I find interesting and the younger generation finds interesting. But that's relative cause Gone with the Wind may not be interesting for some youngers.
