Default Rec for resort to stay with kids and 4 adults

We are going to Disney in Nov '13 with my parents, husband and 3 kids (ages 6,4, 1). I need recommendations for which resort could accommodate adjoining rooms, or even better a suite for 4 adults and 3 kids, and alittle kitchen area would be perfect. I have heard great things about Coronado Springs, but also All Stars Sports??? Any suggestions appreciated. This is our FIRST disney trip to WDW?

    to Intercot!!!

None of the suites can accommodate 7, but all of the resorts have adjoining rooms. It really depends on your budget. If money is really tight, a value resort with 2 connecting rooms will work just fine. You can work your way up to a moderate or deluxe and find the same thing.

When you're planning your trip, I would really recommend working with Magical Journeys. They've done all of my trips for the last 8 years and do an outstanding job of making sure I always get the best deal. And it doesn't cost you anything to use them. Click on the link under the Intercot sponsors. They can make planning a first trip a real joy instead of a hassle.

Also, ask all the questions you have. Folks on Intercot are pretty knowledgeable about all things Disney.

    To Intercot.

As stated before, Use Magical Journey's as they are the best. It would be the best Christmas gift that as an Intercot member I could give you.

    Happy planning..

    njnagy78, welcome to INTERCOT!

Make sure you clarify when making your request. Adjoining rooms means that the rooms are next to each other and the rooms do not have an interior door connecting them. Connecting rooms means that there is an interior door between the rooms.

Congrats in advance on the trip!! Plenty of options on where to stay on site - adjoining/connecting rooms won't be a problem. what you need to do: get on line here, ask questions, grab a Disney travel book and do some homework. Based on this knowledge, you factor in your personal finances, family wants and needs, transportation issues around WDW, etc. and your trip will go a whole lot smoother and be a whole lot more fun. ENJOY!!

If finances will allow, you might want to look into a dedicated 2 bedroom room over at one of the DVC resorts.

You would all be able to stay in one room, with a full kitchen.
    Can I go "home" yet?

Value suites hold 6 and 1 more if under 3 years of age.
Still sound like a travel agent would be of use, in addition to the intercot family.

Suites, Vacation club and Fort Wilderness Cabins sound close to your requirements.
2 connecting rooms could work fine, if you can get by with small room frig. and no cooking.

Planning is fun. As you determine your needs come on back here for more fun.

I would definitely do a DVC resort 2 br. Has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and two bedrooms in different configurations. You can rent points or watch for a discount via Disney.

With kids those ages I'd recommend Beach Club (because of the pool, movies and marshmallows on the beach, and the street entertainers at the boardwalk) OR contemporary just because you will likely spend a lot of time at the MK and the convenience of the monorail with young ones.

    WELCOME!!!

I also recommend a 2 BR at a DVC resort.
We recently stayed at Bay Lake Towers in a two bedroom suite.
    Fully equipped kitchen.
    Will sleep up to nine.
And more importantly, THREE full bathrooms.

I do recommend also bringing a Brita filter pitcher as the WDW water is getting worse than ever.
