how about these dining places?
We booked these for our table service dining plan in February. Just wondering others' opinions..trying to decide if we want to get rid of one and try something different. If you have any suggestions please let me know and tell me what you would delete from our list:
Abershus Royal Banquet Hall (2 daughters are 5 and 9)
Liberty Tree Tavern
Mama Melrose's
Ohanas
1900 Park Fare (dinner) (for my birthday)
Tony's Town Restaurant
Chef Mickey's (the morning we are leaving)

These are some of our favourites!
If you are looking to change one, I'd drop Liberty Tree Tavern, it was quite rotten on our last trip ... the food was only OK and the service was horrible.

I agree that Liberty Tree doesn't shine lately BUT I'd rather eat there sitting down being served than waiting in line not being able to carry my tray back to my table at a counter service!! Great reservations, very MK oriented.

I haven't eaten at Mama Melrose or Tony's.
We have done breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. It's a great meal for girls. I think lunch is a slightly better value than dinner and I liked breakfast. A picture with Belle is included in price and there is a cold buffet included that is nice.
I like lunch better at Liberty Tree Tavern than dinner. The family style dinner was not my thing. Lunch is ala carte and I think the food is better.
I love breakfast at Ohanas. Great characters. The family skillet is good and there are lots of Mickey waffles. Dinner is good too.
The buffet at 1900 Park Fare is okay. The character interaction here is very good.
Chef Mickey's breakfast is good especially if you want to see the Fab Five. The buffet has a lot of variety. I do find it a bit overpriced compared to the other breakfast buffets but it is the only place you will find the Fab Five together.

Just added what meal- lunch or dinner we will be doing each. Thanks so far for everyone's responses!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is awesome. Loved the food (though of course it's dumbed down for American tastes) and your daughters will love the attention from the princesses (say hi to Aurora for me!). The only other place on your list I've been to Ohana. Again, I think this is an excellent pick. There is also nice child geared entertainment there during your meal. The only bad things about those two picks is that, if you're like me, you'll overeat and get a tummy ache!

We are not a fan of Mama Melrose. I have heard here that they have a new Chef though.
Our server was less than attentive. We have enjoyed Prime time 50's for lunch and dinner. If you get a good server it can be a lot of fun for young and old alike.
Hope this helps...

We have always had a good experience at Mama Melroses. Tony's is OK....nothing to write home about.

Personally, we've done Momma Melrose twice now and have loved it both times. Our kids really loved the menu choices. But also a thumbs up to 50's Prime Time as well.
1900 Park Fare - we ate their for dinner for the first time on our recent visit. IMO, probably the best buffet we had on property, and the characters were great.
Ohana is always good, tons of food and they involve the kids in coconut races and hulas. Can't go wrong there.
Can't really speak to the other ones on your list.

Great picks! We like mama melroses and Ohana a lot! Great choices for even the pickiest of eaters! Chef mickeys is great as a end of vacation breakfast. Haven't tried the others.

We ate at Mama Melrose in November. I had the basic spaghetti & meatballs and it was outstanding. Much better than I expected. DD16 had the same meal and liked hers too. DH had the chicken parm and loved his meal.

Ive only been to Ohanas and Mama Melrose. Ohanas was delicious but Mama Melrose was mediocre.

Agree with RedSoxFan. DW and I ate at Mama's in early November for the first time as part of the Fantasmic Dinner Package - for lunch. The portions and food were very good - much better than many of the reviews. Service was excellent. Probably the nicest dinning surprise on this trip.
