DME Luggage delivery

I use DME all the time when we go. However, this time we are arriving at night. The plane lands at 8:05PM. This puts us at PORS around 9:30PM. My DD will be asleep shortly after getting to the room.

The question is what will they do with my luggage: will they deliver it around 11PM or hold it down at baggage?

My understanding is that they will deliver it as long as your flight is arriving before 10. If you don't want to have delivery due to your late arrival, do not use the luggage tags you get from Magical Express. Instead, go to the luggage carousel, retrieve your own luggage and have it transported on the Magic Express bus with you. This way, you can go right to bed upon arrival and not worry about a luggage deivery.

Thanks Faline. That is what I was thinking. I do not want a knock at the door at around 11PM for luggage. I do not want my daughter woken and I usually do not fall back asleep once I wake up.

Even though I'm not traveling with a child, I'm with you about a later knock on the door!! When we arrive in the evening, we typically just go to the carousel and grab our luggage to bring with us. I'd rather wait an extra 10-15 minutes on that end than half to wait up when I'm half asleep at the resort!!

How long does it usually take to get luggage after landing? I can't remember what time it came last time

I think it is usually about 3 hours

It takes about 3 hours from landing. If that is accurate, then it is about 11PM for me. I don't want to be woken up.

Isn't there a way that you can request for your luggage to be held until morning? I thought you could make that request at bell services.

On our trip in November, my sister's flight arrived around 8pm. She called when she got to the hotel and they said they deliver luggage at all hours. Sure enough they knocked on the door at midnight. So if you don't want to be woken up in the middle of the night, I'd suggest picking your bags up yourself (don't use the yellow tags if you do this).

I'm going to pick them up. I will just get one of those luggage carts. That way my daughter can get a little ride, I have the luggage, and I do not need to be worried about getting woken up.

one time got to CBR around 9..luggage didnt arrive til..idk after 1am. this time i have a daytime flight so im not worrying as much, but then again i havent signed up for DME yet and its only 3 wks
