How much is the new pirate makeover for kids near the POC? Do you have to make reservations in advance like BBB?

Looks like it is about $30.00 per person. I'd suggest making reservations - you never know when you'll hit a particularly busy time and not be able to get in.

reservations aren't required, but getting a walk-up isn't always easy.

I would make a reservation. It is awesome, and DD LOVES it ... we saw a grandfather, dad and son all getting made-over together.

I'd hate for you to be disappointed, and it does get busy!

Thank you! Not as expensive as I had thought it would be.

At the end of the make over, they go into another room and they take photos in there that they then let you buy if you like. You are not allowed to take any pictures in that "secret room" So if you want the picture, you have to pay. Just keep that in mind cause it does make it a little more expensive.

If you have Photo Pass Plus, you get the picture package for free. This along with eating at several Character Dining restaurants that offered the same benefit made Photo Pass Plus a no-brainer for us on our last trip.

Also, we made a big mistake with the Pirate League this past trip. We surprised our 8 year old with it and he absolutely hated it!! He suffered through the whole thing without saying much, but the look on his face was absolutely heart breaking. The make up was the thing he really hated, but he was a trooper.
