    Default Photopass+

We are about 41 days away from our trip and I think I want to purchase the photopass+ but I'm a bit confused. Does is come with a CD of all your photos?

The CD definitely comes with it! Along with a second photo CD of some professional Disney photos. It's great to have some shots of the parks without a million people in them!

We got it 2 trips ago because we took our Godson for his first visit. It was our first time travelling with a child, so we did Chef Mickeys, Hoop de Doo Revue and a million rides. Photopass + worked great on that trip- just the ride and dining photos alone paid for the cost of the Photopass. Plus, we found that tons of photographers stopped us when they saw the lanyard and offered to take some special photos for us. For example, our Godson was wearing a Jedi Training Academy shirt and one asked him if he wanted his picture with Darth Vader. It was a cool magic photo that is normally offered only during Star Wars weekends, but we got it in April because of the photopass.

My DH and I go too often alone to make it worthwhile for just us, but I wouldn't hesitate if we brought someone else along with us.

You order it now before you leave at a discount. You will get a voucher in the mail with a code to get your cd. Take the voucher to the photo shop at the first park you go to. They will give you your lanyard. Use that for your trip. You can use regular photopass cards as well but the red card must be used for the restaurant pictures. They will give you the hard copies of the pictures as well as the digital copy. Take a picture of the back of your card in case you lose the card. When you get home, put it the codes for the cards. Add borders that you want. Then order your cd using the code. The pictures are available for 30 days. They don't even charge shipping. We just got our cd on Friday! Love photopass+!

So just so I have this clear....you order Photopass+, you get your pictures taken using the photopass card at the parks. When you get home, you can order all your pictures, with added things for no cost at? The $149 covers everything?

Yep, be sure to get the pictures when you get off the rides added to your card.

We were very happy with the card. and with my DD going to the park on her own having only one card was an issue. Here are some tips we used.

    1. You need the Photo pass plus card to get the extras. If you don't have it when you get a ride photo you want to keep just get a slip from the rides photo booth and you have 48 hours to bring the plus card back to that ride and claim the photo,

    2. You can use the generic cards the photo people provide for basic park shots. All you have to do is stop by any park photo pass booth with the Plus card and they will combine them all on the the Photo Pass Plus.

    3. Advice for all cards. Take a digital photo of the numbers on your used cards. The card is not important but the numbers on them are. With out them there is no way to reclaim the photos logged to that card.

If you have any questions the Photo Pass People will gladly help.

Like anything, PhotoPass+ is great if you use it. We prepaid and got over 100 shots plus prints from two character meals. 100 shots divided by $149 is only about $0.67 per shot. Plus I can get prints from Shutterfly for pennies vs. Disney's cost.
