Official #runICOT WDW Marathon Weekend Meet - Jan. 9-12

Woo Hoo! We are so excited! DH, DD and myself will be running in the 5K, I have totally slacked in my training, I need to get back to it ASAP! So excited about the shirts! Gonna order right away! Can anyone tell me how these shirts run? Sometimes with the dry-fits they can run pretty small, so just need to know what size and style to go with! I know for sure I will be at all the cheering and ICOT meets. I can't wait to see everyone! Oh and Maria K and I have made some joint dining ressies and we made them for a larger size. I will post the times and locations and if anyone wants to join us, we can alter our reservations!

Got my #runICOT shirt and Yeti shirt yesterday! And we just switched from Beach Club to Boardwalk to take advantage of room discounts. I'm sad I won't be able to do BC this time around but excited to be closer to the Bakery and Jellyrolls!

QUESTION: I wanna make breakfast reservations at Cape May Café for after the Thursday Family Fun Run 5K. 9am for reservations should be fine, right? I mean, they gotta kick us all out of Epcot before it opens at 9am, right? Just checking! I just think I'll be starving if I make reservations much later considering we'll be up since 4am! Plus we'll have been running!

You should be fine, but you might be surprised how quickly time will go. Are you planning to go shower after the run?

We are still DVC waitl-isted for Boardwalk. I was hoping it would come through so I could be closer to the action.

But if we *have* to stay at Saratoga Springs, I guess we'll have to suffer through (sarcasm).

There's always taxis and resort buses.

#runICOT is going to be EPIC

Since so many ICOTees are staying at Boardwalk, I've made the executive decision that cheering for the Minnie 10K will indeed be in the Boardwalk area. I'll edit the original post.

The "official" course still hasn't been released by Disney, but all indications is that mile 5ish is the Boardwalk area.

The runners will go the entire loop around Crescent Lake. I'm thinking maybe in front of Jellyrolls? We all know where that is. LOL! Does that sound good?

I'm excited about being at this location. I love cheering the runners towards the end. It's the best to be able to yell "Almost there!"

I'm convinced Mel's decision to change meet to Boardwalk made DVC call me and tell me my waitlist for Boardwalk was good. I'm at the BOARDWALK for January meet! I'll be so close to column, I can visit him daily!

Have you asked John? He just booked his flights. I'm not sure when he is flying in, but it would be great to have him there.

Okay, now that the official courses have been released, I'm seeing that there is a water station right about where we were looking to gather for the 10K (by Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk). Does anyone see that as an issue? Should we move over by the Yacht/Beach Club instead?

I'd say we could just move that morning if it's an issue, but don't want to lose any latecomers, etc. What does everyone think?
