Monorails and resort boats

I think most people choose a resort for a specific reason (i.e., cost, monorail, boat, location) and should have the amentities available when paying for such (and at a price). The times the boats aren't available are during peak times when people are on their way to a dinner reservation, etc. Is it the end of the world no, but do I agree that it's upsetting ABSOLUTELY and I understand your point!!!!! What resort are you staying at? Maybe they would allow you to move to another one. Just a thought.

As for the dragon races, while I think it's nice that Disney sponsors this to benefit breast cancer, I'm sure they are not allowing the use of the water for free. Why can't they have it over in the Seven Seas Lagoon. While taking the boat from WL to MK, I always notice how much of the lagoon isn't used. Why can't they have it over there!

I don't see why they can't just use the Westside dock and go slow hugging the shoreline?

I'll be staying at 2 of he listed resorts and like water that rolls off a duck's back, it doesn't bother me in t least. I have never been left stranded anywhere by Disney and I doubt that I ever will.

The thing with the resorts affected by the dragon boat races isn't about transportation to me though. Yes, technically the boat to DTD IS transportation, but it's so much more. It's a big part of the experience and atmosphere, especially at the two PO resorts.
